Job Title:

Vehicle Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance, repair and overhaul work on vehicles, ensuring high standard of workmanship and minimize turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections to be in-line with good vehicle maintenance service standards and according to requirements
• Notify the Technical Leader of any unusual repair problems which will require major repair and replacements parts recommendation
• Identify, replace and test of faulty components
• Adhere to defined guidelines in regards to safety, orderliness, etc.
• Complete service maintenance works for each vehicle unit serviced
• Follow-up outstanding payments
• Handle diagnostic tools, interpret and solve fault codes
• Adopt knowledge to put in place a process of continuous professional development
• Review and propose correction processes as and when necessary
• Maintain harmonious relation with other division / department, vendors, etc.
• Be self-motivated to enhance productivity

and other ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Required experience: minimum 2 years in automotive service repair
• Education: minimum NTC2, NITEC, or Diploma in Automotive Technology
• Have good basic automotive skillset and strong hands-on technical skills
• Class-3 driving license
• Competent in basic English (both verbal & written)
